mAGICAL MEMORIES OF THE ARCTIC NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE

By SUSAN ALEXANDER

thoughts turn to Alaska's Far North, and to
my annual pilgrimage to the land known as
the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This

is heavily tainted with fear. This year those who
seek to destroy this magical place stand a far better
chance of success.
